I've learned over the years that shoving feelings down and never dealing with them almost always backfires. They eventually get released (usually when you least expect them) and the results are not pretty.

On the flip side, expressing feelings doesn't always have the result you imagined it would.

Either way, it's going to cost you. But the bottom line in my opinion is they're better out than in.
