I created this piece soon after dropping my youngest off at college for the first time. Although only five hours away on the other side of the state, she seemed so far away that first night.

Long Way Home was selected for the juried Art of the State exhibition at the Pennsylvania State Museum. The exhibit runs from September 26, 2021 - January 2, 2022.

This painting was also accepted and exhibited in the Atlantic Highlands Arts Council Art in the Age of Covid Juried Show, December, 2020 - January, 2021.

This piece is unframed but is wired for hanging.
